Why Subscribe?

I’ve been writing from Italy for a long time. A really long time. I used to write for magazines and newspapers (remember those?) and am the author of nine books about Italian food and culture. I also wrote a best-selling app and have a few viral videos over on YouTube. You can find out all the details over on my website, which I started 12 years ago. My main business these days is leading food tours in Italy (at least that’s what I do when there’s not a pandemic!).

I started this monthly newsletter in 2015 and it includes all sorts of fun stuff. I usually let you know what’s going on in my world in Italy, including meals I’ve eaten, places I’ve visited, people I’ve met and things I’ve learned. There are always lots of links to what to eat, read, watch, and listen to. The free version will continue to include all of this, plus pretty pictures (I’m also a photographer)
