I’ve just returned from an absolutely breathtaking two weeks in Iceland (stay tuned for a full itinerary next week). Now, I’m back in Umbria, and I’m dealing with a serious case of post-vacation blues. The cool, refreshing 50°F (10°C) weather in Iceland was a stark contrast to the sweltering 100°F (40°C) heat here. Adjusting to the scorching Italian summer has been challenging, to say the least.
My remedy? A veritable river of cold coffee concoctions. It helps me to cool off as well as recovering from vacation brain (it’s a real thing.)
