Hello!
I’m writing with some good news for those of you who tried to join us on our Sicily tours this year, but didn’t have the chance since they were all full. We’ve had a last minute cancellation which means a few spots have opened up for:
The Culture of Food in Sicily October 22-28, 2023
Our base will be the super swanky hotel Agila in Ortigia (Siracusa) and each day we’ll be heading out to explore. Rather than just describe what we’ll be doing, I thought I’d share a few videos :
Cooking Class
Visit to an Organic Almond Farm
Visit to a Winery on Mount Etna
Visit to an Olive Oil Plantation
And more:
Market Walk
Guided tours of Noto & Ortigia
Granita Tasting
Day at a Sustainable Cattle Ranch
Guided Visit to Archeological Park in Syracuse
And lots of eating and drinking of course!
Details:
When: October 22-28, 2023
Where: We’ll be based in Ortigia (Siracusa) in our own private Deluxe rooms
Who: The tour is limited to 12 guests
What: The tour is 6 nights and 5 very full days, with trips in our private 20-seat bus. But don’t worry, you’ll also have some down time in Ortigia, to explore on your own.
How: For more information, including the pricing and the full itinerary:
(If the buttons don’t open automatically into your email program, just send us an email at minchillitours@gmail.com or respond to this email with your request)
Hope you can join us!!!

Hello! I just read about your most recent trip to Sicily with Jenny Rosenstrach! Looks incredible. Coincidentally, I am going to Noto with my family next week! Do you have any restaurant recommendations in Siracusa or Ortigia for dinner for a group of 11, which includes 5 children between ages 1 and 10? I had a reservation at Regina Lucia, but the restaurant just cancelled it! Would either Appolonion or La Lisca Cucina be appropriate? Everything looks so perfectly quaint and small, but unfortunately, I don’t think that will work very well for us on this trip. Thanks in advance for your help!
