As a premium subscriber, you're getting early access to exciting news—our newest tour has just been added! We’re heading to Puglia in March 2026, and you’re hearing about it before anyone else (This announcement goes public on August 19, so you’ve got a head start).
The Culture of Food in Salento & Central Puglia
with Sophie Minchilli
March 22–28, 2026
Due to popular demand, we’ve squeezed in one more tour to Puglia with Sophie! The last three tours sold out so quickly that we just couldn’t bear to disappoint you. This tour takes place in March, when spring begins to burst forth. It’s also decidedly off-season (a rare thing in Puglia these days!), which means we’ll have the cities and towns to ourselves - a true luxury.
Join Italian food expert, author, and Via Rosa co-founder Sophie Minchilli and her friend and fellow guide Angelo for a deeply flavorful, six-day culinary adventure through southern and central Puglia. You’ll stay in the historic towns of Lecce and Monopoli, and visit their favorite spots: Martina Franca, Gallipoli, Galatina, Bari, and more.
A Few Highlights:
Shopping in the market, cooking class, and a long, delicious lunch
A full day all about Puglia’s famed olive oil
Cheese-making at a family-run caseificio
Visit to Alberobello, the storybook town of trulli
Seafood feasts in Gallipoli and Monopoli
Lunch in the back room of a local butcher
Meet the pasta grannies of Bari
Taste the spicy, crispy Spaghetti all’Assassina
…and more surprises along the way!
