NEW TOURS PUGLIA & PARMA


Puglia and Basilicata with Sophie

Sophie will be sharing this five-day feast through Puglia. A bit shorter than our other tours, you’ll be based in Bari and visit some of her favorite towns including Alberobello, Monopoli, Cisternino and Matera, in Basilicata.

A few of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Visit to the Unesco heritage town of Matera & lunch in a cave

  • Day at a family farm in the Valle d’Itria making cheese & pasta

  • Guided tour of Unesco heritage town of Alberobello

  • Morning exploring the seaside town of Monopoli

  • Visit to Cisternino and lunch at a butcher

  • and more….

Details

When:

  • April 15-20, 2024

  • May 27-June 1, 2024

Where: You’ll be based in Bari, staying your private room with a sea view and balcony

Who: The tour is limited to 12 guests

What: The tour is 5 nights and 4 days and will include very full days, with trips in our private 20-seat bus. But don’t worry, you’ll also have some down time in Bari, to explore on your own.

PUGLIA & BASLICATA WITH SOPHIE


Parma with Elizabeth

While delicious ingredients come from all over Italy, the region of Emilia Romagna is particularly rich. Based in Parma, we will spend six nights and five very full days diving deeply into The Culture of Food that defines this region and makes it so delicious. Each day we will visit markets and food producers as well as eat and cook learning about ingredients like Parmigiano Reggiano, Balsamico, Prosciutto di Parma and of course pasta.

A few of the things we’ll be doing:

  • Visit a Culatello maker + lunch

  • Visit the town of Modena and its famous Market

  • Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale workshop and tasting

  • Pasta-making class

  • Learn how Parmigiano Reggiano is made

  • Visits to ancient castles and small villages with a guide

  • And more….

When: September 22-28, 2024

Where: We’ll be based in Parma, You will have your own private suite in a family run 4-star hotel

Who: The tour is limited to 12 guests

What: The days will be full, with trips in our private bus all over Emilia Romagna. But don’t worry, you will also have some downtime in Parma too, to explore on your own.
