For the past nine years, Sophie and I have been hosting unforgettable week-long food tours in Umbria. Along the way, we’ve visited farms, explored hidden villages, and introduced our guests to artisans who have become dear friends. But this year, we’re taking things to the next level.
Our brand-new itinerary is based in Perugia, the lively capital of Umbria. This means not only will we venture out daily to discover the region’s best food, wine, and traditions, but you’ll also have the chance to fully experience Perugia itself – with its world-class museums, bustling piazzas, stylish shops, and fabulous restaurants and wine bars right outside your door.
Of course, we’ll still return to some of our favorite farms, winemakers, and villages, but this new base has opened the door to even more extraordinary experiences. Think porchetta tastings with a traditional master, an exclusive visit to a family-run cashmere producer, and a private tasting at one of Umbria’s top Sagrantino vineyards.
