It wasn’t always this way. For years, Termini was a typical inner-city train station—gritty, chaotic, and not exactly a food destination. Over time, the building, dating from 1950, outgrew its original design, leading to a haphazard mix of renovations. But about a decade ago, a major renovation transformed it, upgrading infrastructure and creating a more welcoming space for shops and, most importantly, food.
