As always, your newsletter is very enjoyable. So interesting that you mention watching both the mini-series "Inside Man" as well as "From Scratch". as I just finished watching both. "Inside Man" with the incomparable Stanley Tucci and the brilliant David Tennant, was truly quite disturbing but I could not stop watching it! There may even be a second series. Am still reflecting about the other series, as the book was much more moving. In the series, Firenze e Sicilia (and it's people) are lovely. Buon viaggio in America, e felice Thanksgiving con la famiglia. Un caro saluto.
I too loved From Scratch on Netflix. The book is even better! I read that months ago and when someone mentioned the Netflix series I immediately tuned in. I was a bit confused at first, because the names are different, but the real life story is the same. Cheers to Tembi for sharing her beautiful love story. 💕🇮🇹
