I just loved reading all these fantastic travel tips and can't wait to make that .... whatchamadoodlibit. Or to buy your recommended valigie and cross-body bag before next we travel! Grazie mille, cara!

We recently returned from 2 weeks in Italy (Lucca and Florence, then Naples, Procida and Rome)--and, yes, it was HOT! For panini, I'm always happy with a simple mortazza, but we finally made it to 'Ino in Florence, and I loved their sandwiches. Once we retire to Lucca next year (!), I will be back for more. If you like coffee in your hotel room, here's something I bought for my husband that makes surprisingly good espresso: Wacaco Minipresso. You do need access to boiling water (which is easy for my husband's stateside travel), and infinitely better than standard American coffeemakers in most hotels. We also took it on camping trips instead of our moka.

Thanks for the coffee advise. I'll have a look. But since I drink 'american' coffee in the morning, the instant is just fine. ;) I LOVE 'Ino too!! There are so many great little panino places like that in Florence.

I'm all about Massimo's paninis! Not only do i have little patience to stand in line, but supporting local shops!

♥️ Massimo’s paninis! I also buy flowers for my hotel room (or the empty house I am still waiting to buy) It makes such a difference.

The locals option is for me. My favorite thing is checking out the small local food shops.

Everyone has their own hobby, mine is to travel. I got into it when I was a teenager. My friends and I often went on small trips in the transport available to us, and when she got her license and had a car, she started traveling by car https://rental24.co.uk/italy/cinisi. In this way, you can see a lot and be independent in choosing a route.

my at home bar is typically never without a bottle of Averna Amaro - love the link to that dinner. Also that cross body bag from Uniqlo looks excellent, I just might need one, too! Finally, stunning video of the alementari. xx Kristen
