Ooooh - I'd love to come into the city to see you in NYC. We also have a really cute, independent bookstore in Montclair, NJ (you know this town already loves you from the Literary Festival event you did here, albeit virtually) that often does author events (and there's a little italian restaurant attached too!) https://www.watchungbooksellers.com/http://dapepo.com/
The Italian Cultural Center in San Diego (https://icc-sd.org/) would probably be interested in a book event if you can make it cross-country. Not to mention Warwick's book shop in La Jolla.
We shall be in NYC in November so we are hoping you will be in town at that time. Happy to say we are closing on a home in Todi at the end of September!
I’d love to attend Sophie’s book signing in NYC. I look forward to the details. Also, if you have any questions about the city and/or Brooklyn, I’d be happy to help!
Always enjoy your newsletters and recommendations for books and movies! When you go to NYC try to eat dinner at my friend John Winterman’s restaurant, Francie, in Brooklyn. They earned their Michelin star between the pandemic shutdowns and have an incredible reputation for food, service and hospitality!
I enjoyed your newsletter this month for several reasons:
1 - I am one of the lucky ones that will be joining you and Melissa on the trip to Parma. I have been researching to prepare for the trip. Therefore…
2 - I am thinking of extending my time there to visit maybe Lake Como. So I would love to hear about your time in Lake Como….places to see, to eat and to stay.
3 - I made the leap from gas to induction stovetop about 2 years ago. I love it. As your article says it is much more efficient and much better for the planet. Plus….so easy to clean. I highly recommend induction and look forward to discussing this with you on the Parma trip

If I was there longer, I'd definitely come to NJ!
Hi Elizabeth, I would love to see you in NYC! Escaping with you in Umbria on IG is one of my favorite moments of the day 😀

Your recipe for the endive salad calls for 14 cups of lemon juice. Did you intend that to be 1/4 cup?
